Just Ordered a CT4S
OK guys I am new to the hobby and just ordered a CT4S with the Porsche body. After reading this forum all last night I also ordered the tensioner CT028 and the Drive Terrain upgrade CT045. The only thing that concerns me is that I have to be careful where I use it. My friend and I are going into this hobby at the same time. He ordered a Jato so I was thinking we wont really be able to have fun together because his is an off-road car and mine is strictly on-road. Thanks again any suggestions or tips?

RE: Just Ordered a CT4S
Its a good idea to start out in an open area... School parking lot... Try to find somewhere with minimal obstacles. This will help both of you out to start. Don't want to break your cars too quickly. It will give you a bad taste for the Hobby.
Your CT4S has a stock drivetrain that is capable of VERY fast speeds in open areas. We test ours out at a stadium parking lot... which is quite a rush. Nothing like driving an rc car at 70mph, but if you cannot or do not have access to such an area, then we recommend installing the "acceleration" drive train. Your best bet would be to find local "parking lot" racing. Both of you could attend. Thanks! |
