Ct4s glow plug
 

Hi i am quite new to this have just bought a ct4s of a mate trying to get it running
can any one tell me what type of glow plug thay uses and
when it heates up should it be red or white hot
and any whre to but a new pull starts as it is broken

IT SHOULD BE RED WHEN IT HEATS UP THE TYPE OF GLOW PLUG I USED TO USE BEFORE I CHANGED THE ENGINE FOR A TURBO 2.5 WAS O.S. NO 7 I FOUND THAT THEY WERE BEST FOR MY USEAGE YOU CAN GET THEM ON EBAY JUST TYPE IN GLOW PLUGS AND YOU WILL SEE LOADS OF THEM IT DOESNT REALLY MATTER WHAT ONE BUT I ADVISE A MEDIUM HEAT GLOW PLUG YOU GET AS LONG AS IT DOESNT SAY FOR TURBO ENGINES THEY ARE A DIFFERNT THREAD

and you could get a starter box for the car costly but then you can remove the pull start completely which reduces drag on the engine giving it more power and sharper acceleration
but if you only want to replace the pull start then you could go to your local hobby store and get them to order one direct from cen if they havnt got one in stock
