Steering servo??

Ok on my MT2 I pulled my steering servo apart to look at it. . . . .(I'm new wanted to see what it looked like inside). Well when i pulled it apart the bearing was on the topside, but i noticed the gears on the inside werent meshed together. I know there is a chance that this happened with me taking it apart, but I was wonder if anyone else has seen anything like that. Once I put it back together all gears matched, and steering seems to be more responsive. Just found that kinda interesting.

never heard of it doing that before, they usually should be meshed together pretty well.

Steering was doing great either way. . .till user error turned it into a fence post [:o][:o]

I'm guessing you don't have a servo saver in your car?

RE: Steering servo??

yes - its fitted as standard - its the knurled, screwy bit at the top of the right hand side steering post - screw it down to tighten and vice versa. the tighter it is, the more steering u will get, but run a higher chance of stripping gears in the servo.
