One ways cheap fix.
 

I had posted some months back on how to fix your oneways after failure, not many have seen or heard of this so I thought I would share the post with all of you as it is better than alot that I have seen. Nice! That's definately a cheaper way. I suppose it would work the same for the one way in the first gear on the funfactors.

Just check and see if the bearing serial/part # matches and if so then yes it will.

Yep :)

Now that they have steel spurs out for the funfactor, you don't want to buy a new $25 spur everytime your one way dies.

That's exactly what I am saying, these bearings are used in everything from R/C to skateboards to dishwashers and more. So why not try to save a buck or two, who said the R/C hobby has to be expensive.

Which is why i say nearly any starter system will work on any engine, becuz the shaft sizes are all the same. the reason i say MOST is becuz of size of starter houseing and exhaust port location. its only the shape of the owb thats differs in a starter system. so far i seen 2. traxxas and the rest. Sometimes it does come down to WHAT you know and not WHO.

oh great catch too. i never thought to replace just the bearings. heres a differnt method or removeal.. get a 3-6 in C Clamp, 6 preferable. use the c clamp to press the bearing in and out. you ll get an even push at the same time. use a small piece of metal on the bottom of the vise jaws for c clamp to pull against. less chance of a damage due to a missed swing or a throbbing finger. lol

Yeah that is a good way as well, I just use a vise and some simple sockets and put the squeeze to it. A little heat won't hurt here either in removing them. I also think this should be a sticky post so that everyone who visits can attain this knowledge to save some money, because let's face it, these babies go out and a new actually thinks his/her car is broke. Then they can't believe how much that bearing really is, only to break it again shortly after. But thank you again to all for the imput and extra tips on the "how to" factor, I am glad to see this help everyone out.
