try this mod.. I did this and it worked great... the rustler shafts are way too short and won't hold up.... here is the link... credit to azzman and poor judgement for their great work...

ok thank you but ive noticed something in this picture:

http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/6...xshaft11jv.jpg

you see the original diffcup has a hole in the midle were normaly stics a pin inside which normaly holdes the diff hub. but what happens if the diff hub isnt fixed in the diff??? doesnt it destroy the diffs now without this pin???

i was wondering the same thing myself.. I have not had any problems with that aspect of the mod... mine is twisting the t-maxx axles due to the power of the os 18 I run.. I did replace the diff housings front and rear with new ones because they were worn, not broken and were about a year old... about 2 gallons thru them... You could drill a hole in them if you want, but i doubt it would be straight.. just don't see the need for it.. works fine

Aye, as dodgy and ropey as it may seem, it can take a hell of a pounding with this setup. Luck and habit are the answer.

so now ive used the old dodgebones and my rustler axles and did the same as you did with the t-maxx-axles. but ive used my selfmade aluminium and carbon parts. here you can also see my double disk brake!

hard to tell from the pics but def looks nice... I hope there is enough of the rustler driveshaft to handle the torque of the nitro engine... the rustler, especially the electric didn't have alot of power.. I run a 9 turn in mine and bent the driveshaft and had to go with cvd's... nice work on the bling....

Would this breack be under warrenty. How long is the warrenty for?

RE: diff cups braking

andrewtexas123... what is the question?... are you asking if the double disc brake is under warranty?... That would be a no... the only thing cen seems to warranty is engine and gears one time only... can't blame them however....

Calm down Andrew - Vochlrupfer is german, I suspect he is having difficulty understanding your spelling. Chill man. Maybe worth a quick scan of your post before hitting the "send" button.

But to answer your question Mr V - Yes, warranties are just what you described, so long as its a manufacturing defect and not user error.

Unsure of any warranty whatsoever in the UK to be honest, it wasnt mentioned when I bought mine many moons ago. You really need to speak to Cen directly to be sure to get accurate answers though.
