O.S. .18 CV-RX w/11J Rotary Carb vs. Nx18

O.S. .18 CV-RX w/11J Rotary Carb vs. Cen Magnum .18
Was just curious if there was much of a difference between the two. Which one is better?

Thats a tough one... I really like O.S. motor but everyone I have owned seems like their bearing quality is a lil sub-par

Bearing quality.. I have 3 OS 18 cvrx's and never had a single issue with any one of them... especially the bearings... even the one ways are original and never even cleaned... several gallons thru all of them... as for the NT18... good engine for what it is but doesn't have the power of the OS and tuning is more difficult.. I have 2 of the OS engines in my cen mt's and the other is in a Kyosho Touring car....The cen engines are looking for a good home....
The OS 18CVRX is a very popular upgrade for the Magnum and MT2 for a reason... They work great... they are also very inexpensive....

Well the reason I was asking was cause I have been buying Magnum's and parting them out on ebay. I was just thinking whether I should keep one of the Nx.18 engines for myself instead of putting it up for auction or just go ahead and get the OS

I have always found CEN engines to be reliable and well running. But the O.S. engine is a much better engine for the money. If you have the choice between CEN and the O.S. I would say go for the O.S.

There really isn't a camparison between the two.
