Matrix engine
I've been having problems with my Matrix engine from the get go. I've got 1/2 gallon through it and I'm wondering if maybe my plugs are the problem.
I got the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXABK8&P=7]DuraTrax Racing Plug from Tower Hobbies[/link] and now am second guessing this decision. I want to head up to the local HS at lunch today to get something different. What should I use with the CEN engine that comes with the Matrix. Also: The manual I got with the car shows an older (I assume) engine. I know the HSN needle is on the top. I am assuming the low range (idle) is with the throttle barrel on the right side and the mid range is the brass looking larger screw on the left side of the engine (easy to get to ) If I'm wrong that would explain quite a few problems, but everything I see on the 'net leads me to believe this. It has been awhile since I had Nitro and those were planes. But I never had any engine problems with planes. I always had OS engines...maybe that was it. Thanks for the help !! |
RE: Matrix engine
The nx26 motor like an os #8 plug. you are right on the needles.

RE: Matrix engine
Yeah even in my GST with an NX-76 motor it loves the OS #8's
Hope you get it dialed in, and good luck! |
RE: Matrix engine
Just got the Matrix Arena with the SH.28 so I'm wondering if that Engine likes the OS#8 since I have several for my NX76's
