My genesis does not like to turn unless it is moving and even then it does not turn that great. Any suggestions, higher torque servo, etc. Any help appreciated

RE: Genesis Steering
Hi Schrage, when I got my GST, all the guys here advised me to get the Hitec 5955TG servo for the steering and to run a battery hump pack instead of normal AA batteries. It does take a bit to turn the wheels of this big truck, but with these upgrades, I haven't had a problem with steering since. Good Luck :)

RE: Genesis Steering
My servo saver kept coming loose, used some plumbers tape and it helped. Well untill I crashed good, then it unscrewed a little and still saved the servo. With the tape the stock servo could barely move the tires sitting still. I'm looking to get a 200-300 oz servo one day.

RE: Genesis Steering
Where can i find a 200-300 oz servo? I checked out the mod on how to make it a dual servo steering system. But I didn't see what to do with the forward reverse servo.
