HELP needed motor question
 

Hello everyone, I have never posted in the CEN portion of this forum but I am here to ask for a little help. Long story short, my buddy has a matrix arena RTR with the stock A28 motor in it. Well the pin that is attached to the crank broke, I contacted CEN and they said that they are no longer making that motor anymore. I can't even get my hands on a new crank for the motor. My question is what motor will bolt right on the matrix with no mods, one that uses a roto start is prefered. looking for a .28 motor. I know this is a general type question, I'm trying to do a little leg work for my buddy. Thanks in advance guys.

Sorry guys the pin I'm referring to is attached to the crank, it connects to the pull start so the motor will turn over.

The new CEN motors are by Corsa.

Any big block motor will work in the Arena, it's a truggy. You could try to rebuild the stock motor if you want, although I can't guarantee you'll find parts. Contact your local hobby shop for parts for the SH motor.

there are several sh .28 engines on ebay for under 100 dollars w/ pullstart if he wants to go that way . Seller is in hong kong so shipping would be slow. Axial makes a nice .28 w/ pullstart in the low 100 s. But as chrobar said any big block will fit.
