Default Century Swift questions

Hey all,

I just picked up a used swift to learn on....but no where can I find requirements for servos for this thing. I've got plenty of fixed wing experience....but just new to the heli scene. I"ll just list them and hope you guys can help me out.

#1 What type of servo should I be looking at? 80 oz or larger....what kind of speeds are required...is digital required or will analog work ok since I'll most likely rip a few up......."I only use Hitec .....except possibly on the tail"

#2 What brand and level of gyro should I spring for? Is the Futaba 401 the best out there "I fly a 9C transmitter" Should I spring for the SMM version? And should I spring for the Futaba 9254 or 9256 tail servo?

I think that'll get me started for now.....and if you have any other suggestion....please let me hear them.

Thanks everyone,

Neo

Default RE: Century Swift questions

GY401 w/9254 is great and hitec HS-635 (analog) or HS-5475 (digital) would work fine!
