I took a Trex 600 rear servo mount and a Raptor 50 tail servo linkage set from my LHS for my Hawk. The Trex 600 has a slightly larger tail boom so I wrapped 4 layers of electrical tape where the servo mount goes and it is nice and tight. The Raptor 50 linkage seems a bit long but after you put the drop bend in the rear and add some century long ball link ends it is perfect. The linkage is the same size as the stock tail servo linkage tube so the stock guides work fine. I did have to drill/ream out a hole for the rod to pass through the tail boom support base. The servo seems solid and the linkage rod moves nice and smooth. Next on the list is a new tail servo for the gy401 and a decent pipe. Haven't tried it yet maybe tomorrow.

Hmmm...you must have a pretty old version of the Hawk because the current Hawk Pro version has always come with a rear tail servo mount.
Here also are a couple of alternatives for anyone witth any heli that may want to mount the servo on the boom:

Well, if it was a hawk pro I would have.LOL It is a hawk II from like 1996. It had the rudder servo in the front and a single tail boom support. Ijust need to upgrade to the 10mm head and it should b good to go.
