hawk tail pitch lever

Broke my tail pitch lever removing the link. Be carefull. Got a new one and the bushing for the new one didn't fit. Hole in lever too big (bigger than original) What to do??? Noticed an extra brass bushing from the feather shaft. Fit perfectly with the plastic bushing inside. Back in bussiness!!!! What is the chance???\ Hawk repairs easily and flying exactley the same after. Unlike the AXE cp.

Hey Don, are you hovering inverted yet? Glad you resolved your tail pitch lever dilemma. I Got that 401 gyro servo set and that helped a bunch, that old tail rotor servo was way to slow. Got disgusted with the training gear and toar it off, you were right, it causes more problems than it solves![:@]

If you can hover in all orientations than there is no point in keeping training gear on. Untill you can hover nose in a so on, keep it on.

I've got the nose in figured out due mainly from Realflight G3.5. My training gear was causing an oscillation in the yaw axis and driving my gyro and t/r servo nuts (too much flex in the legs of the training gear).

I'm just into doing a loop once in awhile with my Hawk. I can hover inverted on the computer, but mind set is different in real life$$$$$$$. I'm much more conservative. I'll get more recless one of these days.

You don't need to mow the lawn yet do yuh?LOL! Ya the $$$$$$$ factor is a big one! I would like to send my heli radio in and have them install that little red button on it, then things might be a little different (LOL)! Have you checked your rotor speed in hover yet? I might try it this weekend just for curiosity. My flight times are cut pretty short with that .46 and the stock fuel tank, I have been thinking about putting a couple small aux. tanks on (at or slightly aft) of the cg keeping it more in balance for the entire flight, but don't know if it is worth all the trouble.
