Electric pilot wants to go glow...
 

Hi Group, new to the forum. RC guy 20 years ago, getting back into it, helos, because I always wanted to. Have a HB King 2 electric, but want a gas kit (builder). Recommendations for brand and size for a beginner nitro pilot but who wants to stay in the sport for awhile to come. Thanks. Dave

In one,

Hawk pro, with a .30 size engine , upgradable to a .50, if you want to/need to

part built in the kit, but lots to build, with out being over complicated.

table for beginners , but more than capable of 3d (once you have got the hang of it !!!!)

Lots of upgrade parts available , at reasonable prices

Yep - the Hawk Pro, with an OS37, is a great place to start into nitro helis - easy to build, easy to set-up for super stable training, then as you progress just basic changes in your TX set-up will take it up through to pretty aggressive 3D.

I find the lower initial cost relative to others in it's class also leave one with more money to spend on more important items like radio, servos and/or gyro.
