Ball Links Tight?

Some of the ball links are tight on my Hawk. Do any of you sand them down, or reduce their size slightly for a looser fit? Or do you use the lubrication that Century sells?

My hawk was the same way. The links were very tight. I snapped them on and off the balls several times. It helped a lot.

tight balls

Put them on a ball joint, take a pair of standard pliers and gently squeeze and test for smoothness. This may take a couple of squeezes untill you get a "feel" for it. Then you can loosen them nicely in very short order.
