Default My new project

This is going to be my winter project this year.

I remember seeing the article years ago and I always wanted one.

I haven't decided if I am going to build the original size or scale it up a little for maybe an OS 140 RX.

What do you think ?

The Revenger is very cool! Great lines! If it were me, I would leave it the original size.

Will this become a build thread? [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Nice. Yes, definitely same size assuming it is a 60.

It reminds me a bit of the 40 size Side Pocket - same sort of fuse lines and of course, the same canopy (Wing Mfg). The wing is quite different though.

Foam core or built up?

Build thread would be cool.

David.

It is a 60 size bird with a 70 " wing span, it was originally published in RCM, in 78 I believe. It has foam cores available from eureka. I am talking to Don at Eureka about cutting it for me, so a short kit may be available soon, well as soon as I get the templates ready for him. LOL

It does look like it has great performance potential.

I will wait to see what my schedule looks like before I commit to a build thread. LOL

Here is a link to the original build article.

Here are pictures of Dick Russ’s 1978 Revenger then and now.
Nice Ship, have always thought of building one. Good build choice [sm=thumbs_up.gif] will definitely like to hear about how it compares to other designs of the era.
There are so many great old pattern planes to choose from.
