I wish I could be there, but I'll be at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory near Chicago for a meeting and a workshop I am helping to organize.

Ok I will need to all the Master Pilots planning to fly at this event have there sequence email ([email protected]) to me with a week in advanced to the contest cause I have to put all that data in the system I think for this will be the best to have a standard sequence for master in the future this is a lot of work put in individual sequence for each pilot.

FYI: I used the computer for the lower classes, and in Masters did the scoring by hand with the help of a few wives at the Andersonville contest.. Since there is NO normalization in any of the classes it goes pretty fast.
We will see what the next pattern cycle will bring in a few years.

I'm gonna do a reply to get this back to the top...
Looking forward to this event, had hoped to do more this year but heli WCs and cancellations of other CPA events got in the way. Planning on driving up on Friday, probably won't get there in time to fly any though. My wife might come along too, any hotels that were listed on the beach? We'll probably stay 'till monday to get some beach time on Sunday afternoon!
Our last heli contest for the year is this weekend in Brandon, then I'll be burning some fuel in the Bootlegger!

Cliff look for hotel in Destin beach I dont know if you been there before but is one of the best beach in Florida club is a b out 20 minutes from there your wife will enjoy Destin

Cliff, glad your going to be there, looking forward to seeing you, trying to get my conquest IV finished for the contest will be bringing the wife and our grand daughter staying in Destin ( they will be hanging out @ beach), not sure were yet. Anybody got some suggestions for decent/reasonable beach place at Destin? I might be bringing my wife, depending on how our puppy recovers from her surgery yesterday. Destin looks to be the easiest drive to the contest site vs. Ft. Walton or Pensacola.

Cliff, The rates all seem to be some what reasonable this time of year ! Peggy and I plan on being down on Thursday and staying in Destin !

Do you know if Wayne Mann is coming ?? I'm sure the Master class will be fun and hope he can come.. I saw where Jeff Owens said he was not going to be able to make it ..
