Unhappy

..
dear Rod,
Thanks a lot for your drawing.
I love Calypso since I was young. My father built for me a Calypso (Aviomodelli kit) in 1985.
In November a friend of mine sent me the link of this thread and in few months my new Calypso is born.
ENGINE: ROSSI .61
WEIGHT: 3670 GR.

Maiden flight has been already done the last saturday; great aerobatic performance as I supposed

thaanks again for your plan

ciao from Italy

I WOULD LIKE TO ATTACH SOME PHOTO, BUT I CAN'T AND I RECEIVE THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE....SORRY!!!

Default here was mine

Here was mine, and I lost it in the third flight due to faulty battery connector and cable.
It was most suck just to stand and see your plane running full speed to the ground.
I had my father to built me back in the early 80' the Aviomodeli Calypso with the Duraflex fuselage.
After I lost the Calypso I found in my friend garage the Benito Bertolani Komet with the inside pipe version.
After a big restoration, It flew hundreds of flights until a faulty receiver crystal, so another one was lost.

Great to see a model come out of this work. I was asked to do a 3D model of the cowl. It has 1.5 degrees of down and right thrust.

Here is A Fusion 360 model and an Stl. I suppose the best way to use it would be to 3d print it then take a mold of it. I suppose it could be printed as a thin wall model and used as is if made from ABS or PETG.

Hi Rodney,

Love your work! Is it possible to post the latest version of your CAD file here?
