KAOS AND RELATED PLANES AND INFO

I have had this Kaos for a while, but have not put it together yet. I am a bit disappointed that it is so different than the original design. Mainly the thickness of the wing. I am sure it flies great, but it is such a departure from the original design, it really is not a Kaos. I have an OS .65 AX ready to go in this bird.

My Kaos 60 from a kit, this is from 1994. It had a Fox Eagle II .74 in it. It flew great. Loved that airplane. I was out of the hobby for 15 years up until last year. So the Kaos got sold years ago. It just so happens I found a Tower Super Kaos 60 on RCGroups. I am currently building a Big Stik 60 kit I found on ebay. I had a 40 sized Stik back then too. These are my 2 favorite airplanes of all time!! Threw a pic of the Stik in just for the hell of it.

Hey everyone. Got a question about the Bridi XLT. I recently came into possession of one and I am trying to set it up, but am having trouble locating any documentation for the plane. I've tried contacting the Latta'so but haven't received a response. Looking for location of proper CG to be exact. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used to have the plans but they must be on my old hard drive.
A good place to start would be 30% of the MAC. If you're not sure how to locate the MAC, there are plenty of good online references explaining how to do so.

I just got a maiden last Friday of my New Kaos .60, the Tower/ great planes version. I converted it to a taildragger. It is a very smooth, stable airplane. But I would not call it a Kaos. The very fat airfoil has completely changed the way it feels compared to a classic Kaos. Honestly I guess it would have been nice if they could have kept it more stock, but I understand what they did. I plan to scratch build an original Killer Kaos, which is really my favorite.

That would be worth the effort! I have a half finished original dirty birdy .60 on the shelf to finish next winter. I picked this vintage beauty XLT up at a local swap meet this winter and am excited to get it in the air! I'll post some pics tomorrow

The word on Mr. Latta (Bridi planes by Bluejay Kits) has been, for the last few years, that due to economic reasons, he had to find himself a job to make ends meet and so, the kit business had to take a back seat. As a result, most kits are temp out of stock and everytime he's able to make a few numbers of a few of the kits the others are out of stock... in other words, they are sold faster that he can now make them (very few a year). One has to constantly monitor the site and snatch a kit when available.
