Default MK Skymaster build .20 size

I thought everyone would like to see the quality in the MK kits down to Kato's little planes. These are what I believe to be the best kits of this size ever produced. They are just like the .60 size kits, just smaller.

This is my first build thread and I'll try my best in making this as enjoyable as rainedave's UFO and 8178's Blue Angel. But I'll do my best.

Here's the plans. Very sexy looking plane, and a rather long tail moment I think

Here's some pics of the engine craddle with an OS 25 VF fitted with a Hatori header and the MK retractable nose gear.

The quick reply box doesn't have the image upload link. Click on the "post reply" button below the last post and you'll get the same form but with the upload link.

Nice work! A very smart way to build the business end.

I agree, very clever construction. You could almost test run all the plumbing and pipe set up before building the fuse around it![X(]

I'm going to enjoy watching this thread. One picture and I've already picked up some good ideas. In hindsight I wish I'd used hardwood rails on my project. They add a lot more strength to the nose and absorb a lot of vibration.

That is a very interesting front end. I don't think I have ever see one like that. If the rest of the plane is that way, I am going to enjoy this build very much.
