I know many several members have been following the progress on the backup Revenger. It is now finished and in fact I flew it for the first time yesterday. It flew wonderful and as straight as you could ever want. During the trst flight the elevators were a little sensitive so I will reduce the throw on those. During the straight and level flight I observed no pitch changes from full throttle to idle. Inverted it did require a very slight amount of down trip. Loops were very easy and tracked perfect. Spins were easy to enter and recovered right on heading. Doing the top hat was a piece of cake. The Revenger climbed straight as an arrow. The finished weight was 8 pounds, 6 ounces. With the new Super Tigre 61 it was very fast and flew easy on 1/2 throttle. I have attached a few more pictures. I will take some more pictures on the next flight

Pete, that is exactly the canopy that wing still makes. back in 1976 I chose the wing canopy for the design. In fact, I just received a new on from wing Mfg. for the next Revenger.

Hi Jeff.
Glad you like it. i hope you will be able to finish and fly yours in the near future. You will be surprised at how well it flys. I flew again this afternoon and several of the younger guy's stopped by and ask if this was one those pattern planes from the early 70's? Thay had never seen a true pattern plane fly the pattern we had in the 70's.
Best regards,
Dick

Dick,
That is certainly one BEAYTIFUL airplane....
I'm glad to hear your maiden and subsequent flights went well too. I am definitely going to add a Revenger to my wish list..
Thanks for taking the time in sharing your rebuild and finishing threads with us. I for one thoroughly enjoyed them.
Take care..
