Default YS 120 ???

I had an older YS 120 that always performed beautifully. It sat up for a while (lubricated) but now seems to have almost no compression. Thoughts or ideas appreciated.

I have no knowledge of that engine but a four stroke with no compression most likely has a valve problem. Pop the cover and take a look.

could be a stuck valve or ring if you remove valve cover and check for full movement then its ok, just run it and the ring will unstick and compression should be restored

I'm sure it's a stuck valve, I sold the engine and now the guy wants to return it. I'll un-stick the valve and then re-list the engine.

My 120 FZ has the same behavior but runs super. Needs the starter to start. I haven't bothered to do anything about it
