I was building a Phoenix 8 (Aerocomposits/Airborne (?), IIRC) at the time that ad appeared. The picture was so unflattering of the 9 that it looked like a step backwards to me. Just a first impression - but, that's all it got - as the saying goes.

My P-8 is still in NJ. Last I heard it is still not painted or covered. I tried to get it back a short while ago, but my buddy seldom lets go of stuff once it is his.
