Slik-Fly canopy (A Phil Kraft design) required or build one!

I am interested in building a Slik-Fly but the most problamatical area is the canopy and I dont want to make it solid as in the Bar-Fli. Does anyone know how difficult it would be to make, how to make one or if one could be made by any company they may know of? Seems a shame not to be able to build a plane because of one single difficult element in the build.

Hi,
Look at the July issue of Model Aviation. There is a nice article on molding plastic shapes with vacuum.

I have been told that a Great Planes Ultrasport 60 canopy can be made to fit.
Walt from Florida did it. Search "Slik-Fli" and you should see a picture of his nice yellow one.
Good luck.
