Hatori #730 Header
 

I'm building a Aurora 60 that I purchase from Don at RCAir. I have a NOS OS 61RF pump that I will be using. I am looking for a Hatori 730 header pipe(new or used.) Also, can anyone tell me the correct muffler to use with this setup? From what I have read so far, it will be either a Hatori or a Macs, but I don't know what # on either.

Hi Ken,
Check out Singapore Hobbies they have a large selection of Hatori headers and pipes. Their prices are in Singapore dollars and the exchange rate is pretty favorable. They should have a long chamber Hatori pipe, too.
There are a few options, but all will work.

Thanks Will, I wasn't sure Singapore Hobbies was still in business. I found their website and they have a "floating" Hatori 730 for the OS in a Aurora. Would that work, or do I need to find the original 730? Ken

Hi Ken,
The floating header will work fine. It is a little more expensive and was designed to accommodate soft mounting systems, but will work fine with a hard mounted engine/pipe. The 'floating' concept is to prevent header breakage.
