Fuel tank for MK Arrow

I went out to fly the Jett .90 powered Arrow, but had lots of problems with the antique MK fuel tank. I need to replace the cap or the whole tank, but as many know this size is not very common. Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks!

Ed

Any video of that Jett powered Arrow flying?

I flew it yesterday but ran into old age related problems with the motor mount. It flew for a few minutes. Incredibly well. Very fast & precise, as an Arrow with a Jett .90 should be...:D

By the way, it was 110º !!!

I lost a plane do to old age. Dry rotted wing bolt threads gave away, then the wing went away.

I have to reinforce or reconstruct the motor mount. Not too sure how to it without a lot of work. It's an old plane, but pretty strong, except for the motor mount. It's the wood fuse MK.

I have a tank that is 16 ozs I think that has a rather narrow girth. It's brand new. It came as standard fare in an 60 size ARFie I bought for my grandson to learn to fly except I converted it to gasoline..... so the tank is spare. It's yours for the S+H

If the existing bearers are soaked or rotted, see if you can grind them out and install a firewall. A plastic mount will work fine

Thanks Matt

The tank is now working fine. And thanks for the ideas on the bearers. That is exactly the case.

I'll let the problem rest while out on work next week and see what pops up.

Thanks again!

Ed
