Charged up!
 

After running across this forum and reading about all the good ol planes I use to fly, I couldn't help myself. You guys got me all charged up to build a Curare again.

I have had the plans for years(and the Mach 1 also) and just ordered a Jett BSE 90 rear exhaust for it and a set of Spring Airs! I can't wait to fly a Curare again. This thing is going to cook!

Flying one of these oldies with all this new equipment, especially all the good servos we have today will be a new experience. The old Kraft KPS servos were never close to a good digital JR of today.

Now, where do you buy balsa for scratch building today? Ha! Just kidding. I still have a supply of contest balsa from 15 years ago.

After comparing the Curare and Mach 1 plans to the Focus I have on my bench, it's amazing how small they were and we thought they were big back then.

I will be busy this fall.
