Vinny,

I don't have the Cosmos plans anymore, but I do have the Aurora plans which was maybe 25 cents different than a Cosmos. I'd be happy to look up the C/G/throws if you'd like them. I flew both and the Aurora was a bit smoother due to the lengthened fuselage.. but I'd bet the C/Gs are almost the same. Let me know.

RE: COSMOS 60

I looked up the plans to my Cosmos 60 and the CG location is around 1/4 inch forward of the main gear position which seems too me to be a bit too far back. As I recall I flew my Cosmos 60 with the CG about 1/3 back for the leading edge of the wing. Throws are not mentioned on the plans for the Cosmos 60 nor on the Aurora plans either. So I would suggest 1/4" up and down on the Ailerons, 3/8" inch up and down on the elevator the Rudder I used 1 inch both directions to start. If you had installed the flaps try 45 Deg down initially and be prepared to feed something like 1/8 down elevator when the flaps go down since the nose of the Cosmos will pitch up and will try to go into a loop. I still have my Cosmos 60 after all these years built it 15 years ago and I have a 2nd Cosmos that has been ruffed in but never finished. I never set my plane up for the spoilers but the flaps all the way down really helped the airplane in the landings.

RE: COSMOS 60

Well the Cosmos 60 is the predecessor to the Aurora by the same designer. The the Cosmos was a mid 80's design and was kitted by MK I assume you have an MK kit. I don't really know if anyone else produced a fibreglas version like was done with the Aurora that was known as the PA-2

RE: COSMOS 60

Yes I just happen to know right where a PA2 is hiding right now. Its in the 2nd bedroom in my house. Its about 75% done too. all that needs be done to it is the assembly of the tail section the wings and engine mount are already installerd. If your interested leave me a message. I've got so many projects I'm working on its still going to be a long time before I get to it.
