Nutcracker

I was looking through an 1973 MAN and found a photo (very poor quality) of Jim Kirklands Nutcracker. It was produced by Airborne Associates with fiberglass fuselage/ foam wing and stab. There was no mention of it in the article just the photo in the Toledo event coverage. I was just wondering if anyone from the list knew any more about the design?

RE: Nutcracker

The molds are now owned by Wing Mfg in Michigan, www.wingmfg.com. They sounded like they would produce some of the old pattern ships from the molds they bought but nothing has happened as far as I can see. I talked to one of the owners a year ago and they stated they were checking the molds.

You might try contacting Wing and asking them what there planning to do!
