EU1A Kit Quest
Hello everyone,
This is my first post on this forum and I have a question. I am looking for an unbuilt EU1A kit (the one with the fiberglass fuselage). If anyone has one they are willing to part with, please PM me and let me know. Thanks everyone. Fly safe and have fun!!:D:D David |
RE: EU1A Kit Quest
Welcome, David. Were you aware that PAC still sell that kit?

ORIGINAL: Skip Try Dan at Carolina Aircraft. Skip he has a lot of irons in the fire... but sometimes that "Demand" for things can change a priority list :) Last time I contacted PAC about the EU1-A it sounded like they had not produced one in quite a while. |
RE: EU1A Kit Quest
All of PAC's molds are for sale. Well, most of them, anyway.
Anyone looking for a solid investment might seriously want to call MAureen and see what she will do for you price-wise. You may be quite suprised. I wouldn't think twice about buying them myself, except I have WAY too many irons in the fire, and no place to even keep them right now. That is a LOT of planes guys.....so who feels froggy? I'll be first in line for a couple of kits! -Mike |

RE: EU1A Kit Quest
ORIGINAL: navav2002 So you have heard Dan is going to do the Aurora60?? I tried e-mailing him about that with no response...Oh well... If you hear any news on the Aurora I'd like to know myself.... Thanks Chuck Just for reference, I currently have the T2A-40 kit sitting in my basement and I am waiting on a Brushfire kit that is in progress right now. Dan is very backed up because of a stretch of very cold weather that prevented him laying up fiberglass parts for a number of weeks a while ago. I am sure he is frantically trying to get the backlog cleared and get onto the new stuff... Mark |
RE: EU1A Kit Quest
vinny,
How about posting a picture of the model you still fly! Lots of us LOVE pictures... |
RE: EU1A Kit Quest
Hello everyone,
All I can say is WOW!!:). I REALLY appreciate all of the help. It's like I have said in other forums, RCUniverse rocks! RCBuilder42yrs, I have to agree with Tony. I'd love to see some pictures of your plane. The airplane is for a good friend of mine who used to fly them in competition years ago. He said he ran his with a YS140 four stroke with the motor located in the cowl so the pipe on the exhaust ran concealed inside the fuselage. I'd like to get one and build it for him. Thanks again everyone. Keep the suggestions coming. Fly safe and have fun!! :D:D David |
RE: EU1A Kit Quest
Hello all,
Does anyone have an email or web site address where I can contact Dan at Carolina Airgraft? I am not in any hurry for the kit, but I do want one. Fly safe and have fun!!:D:D David |
RE: EU1A Kit Quest
Dan does not have a website, his e-mail is:
carolinaaircraft(AT)earthlink.net He may take a couple of days to get back to you, don't panic if he doesn't reply right away. Mark |
