Shamelessly showing off your endless supply of kits again?:D We should have a contest to guess what kits you don't have in your collection.

It not a phoeniz 8.

For all you old timers of this forum, here are a few more photos
of what I think it is.

It looks like one to me.

Hi, I or my wife are the ones that laid-up that fuselage. It is a Trion designed by Alan Dupler from Ohio. Fliteglas Models never kitted the plane but we made several fuselages for Alan and his friends (including one for Dave Brown). In fact I still have the original plug the molds were made from. The only thing that didn't go to Dively Models when we sold Fliteglas Models about 1983.

The fiberglass wingtips are a cool idea.

Nope, like Ralph said above, its a Trion, no doubt about it.

Definitly a Trion. I fly one at the 1983 Masters. Jim

Dave, that make you the man on this one[sm=thumbup.gif]. I thought one
of the forum old timers would have got this one sooner.

Maybe Deadstick and Mr. White should get together

I have been looking at it. Thought it was a P-8 as listed, until no nose scoop. Looked like a P-6 in the front.
He pulled it off of E-Bay, saying wrong description, and will re-list. I can't find it right now, but will ask again
the item number. Looking at the swept wing, etc., is this the Phoenix wing ?

Looks like these old bird's are coming out of the woodwork.

I'm sure you're all right about it NOT being a Phoenix 8, but in the 3rd picture at the beginning of this thread, the PLAN is labeled PHOENIX 8. Did you put that in there to throw us off?

Not really, but I guess I should have indicated that this thread was in reference to
this thread
and this item
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=002

Being that both threads were listed together (one on top of the other) for over a
100 hits. I assumed that most would read both threads, check or had checked
out the item above and was getting the point of this thread. I should know this by
now, never assume. I will try to be clearer the next time.
