Atlas

Here are a few pictures that I scanned from original photo's taken around 1982. This was one of my favorite planes that I flew for about (3) years. It had a Kraft .61, Kraft radio, and Rhom-Air retracts. It was finished with automotive lacquer. I wish I still had this plane!!! I sold it to a club member when I moved out of state in 1987.

that is a well finished plane, i assume the construction was just as well done. i would regret selling it also.

RE: Atlas

Yep, that's a nice one!

The MK Atlas is my "Holy Grail" of classic pattern models, just because it was my first sixty size pattern ship. Before that I had the 20 & 40 sizes too:D

I've aquired a few MK kits recently but this one escapes me, can't be that many around & the last I saw went for well over $500 on the *bay. I know there's other options to get an Atlas these days but I'm holding out hope for finding the MK version one day...
