Yes, it was. I built one from the kit in 1973.

I'm just wondering what a Skyglas short kit of the Banshee would be worth today. Would this model qualify for SPA? I'm about to go through my stockpile of kits I've collected over the years. There's a couple of pattern planes I may consider ebaying.
