I have bought a Curare 60 from Sunshine Shop in germany, they even make a smaller one look.
Take care. We deliver the Curare in three sizes, as C60, C40 and C10. The Curare 10 can be watched only since a short time on model airports. Owing to its small dimensions it is transportable into every boot even when it is put togehter. With a 2,5 ccm motor the model can be started after short rolling or our with hand launching. In spite of its balanced flight property the Curare 10 is no model for beginners. Specifications Wingspan: 1030 mm Length: 870 mm Weight: from 1100 g Motor: 2,5 - 3,5 ccm kit contents: ready-built GRP- fuselage, GRP- cowl, sheeted wings and tailplane, canopy, wooden parts, main gear, plan and parts-list. time of delivery: 8 days Please look here http://shop.wega-sunshine.com/index....08af0a35dbd8c& |

And what about the New Era Vs Flea Fly? Which is the best?

RE: Classic pattern for .20 cu.in
There's also the Eyelash (mini Eyeball), LiL Vertigo, Flea Fli, New Orleanian Jr., Mini Kaos. Wasn't there also a Gator Flea? I have plans for all of these except the Gator Flea. Also, Lazer-works.com has a short kit of the MiniMaster.

I have the Under Dawg plans (and the Top Dawg) in digital format. I haven't worked on them yet in Photoshop, though.
Here's the Gator Flea, not the best quality, but usable: David |

Peppermint Pattie .15 (OK, I'm prejudiced)
.20 might be a bit much, scale it up by 10% |

Great suggestion WEDJ. I've been perplexed by that odd cloud formation above your left shoulder since I first saw that photo last year.

I never notice that until you pointed it out. Good looking. |
RE: Classic pattern for .20 cu.in
ORIGINAL: windcosmic I never heard about the Minimaster.. where I can find a pic of it? - Probably because it isn't a pattern plane. Neither is the Super Pacer, Pacer, Hammer, etc. The wing just happens to be on the bottom. That does not make them pattern planes any more than having the wing on the top makes a model a trainer. Truthfully, there are no .20 sized classic pattern models that originated in the US. The displacement limit was 10cc back when the classic pattern planes were real patternships. Unlike some other countries (England & Japan, at the least), we Americans did not limit the engine displacement according to pattern class. The Peppermint Pattie was available as a kit here in the US and utilized a .15 sized engine, but it was pattern-like and not a true patternship. At one time, several companies offered fully symmetrical foam wings (one piece) that would have made cobbling up one's own low wing sport model a simple matter. I haven't heard of such things being available lately. Sig and Ace are two companies that made such offerings, but that was years ago. It's early. I'm still on my first cup of coffee. My comments were not intended to offend anyone. Ed Cregger |
