Browser freezes when trying to view photos
 

I was just wondering if anyone else has difficulty viewing images posted to RC Universe. I experience no difficulties with any other site - I have added RC Universe to my list of sites to "allow popups", yet my browser freezes when I click on an image to enlarge. I use IE Version 6 (SP3) and don't really want to upgrade to 7, but will if that will resolve the problem. I'm using McAfee Security Center as my antivirus and spam protection software. Everything is up to date, but before trying anything else, I thought I would see if anyone else has experienced similar problems. Any insights that anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Switch to [link=http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/]Firefox[/link]. It's free and it's a great browser. I haven't used ie in years.

i too switched to firefox/mozilla yrs ago. 99% of the popups and viruses are designed to run on internet explorer so why use it? and there are no popups here on rcu. there is a thread somewhere where the ceo? of rcu had the system specifically designed to to not allow popups.

No problems for me with IE 6, IE7 or Vista. You should probably check your security settings in XP and in McCaffee.

Installed Firefox.............END OF PROBLEMS !!!!!!!!
