Thunderbird 40/46 Pattern plan and picture
 

Just received this nice plan from a friend.
The plan is very nice with all wing ribs templates
This is a very nice sport pattern plane for 40 or 46

To me, it looks more like a Sig Kougar minus the one-piece plastic canopy/turtledeck. The post also leads you to believe that the wing is built-up. The Kougar kit uses a foam core. Hmmm.......

I was going to say it looks like a Kaos (fuse and fin/rudder) with the wing, stab and surfaces layout of a Kougar. Maybe the designer doctored two such airplanes at the field and liked how it flew! :)

The Fuse is the same as a Ultimate Kaos.
The Stab/Rudder locatoin are diffient between the Thunderbird and Ultimate Kaos.
I have the kits for both the thunderbird & kaos 40size and 60 size.
