Cowl for Modeltech/Robbe Saphir l
 

Anyone have an idea where I can get a cowling for my newly purchased Saphir l?
I have the glass belly pans, but no cowling.

Hi,

I have a cowl but I need it for my own Saphir.
Maybe try some German forums (if you can read German).

On the other hand it is not that difficult to make a one time plug from foam and use epoxy and fiberglass fabric
and then you should be able to get a good cowl.
I can give You the exact measurments of the cowl and take some more pictures of it from various angles.

It looks like the original plane, and I am going to paint mine like that, but I need to see the underside...

I have a Saphire rebuild on plan that will include making a new mold off the cowl I have after repairs to the cowl. How much of a hurry are you in?
