CPP kits or short kits, where to buy ?

Hi guys I know there are companies selling kits , short kits and arf CPP's.

Sure some of you have bought from some of them, can you share your experience about their planes, kits & service ?

A link to those companies would help a lot.

Thanks for your reply.

Hey Rafa,

good to see you around the forum again. Yea, it seems like there are a number of good guys making some variation of kit of the classics. For what purpose are you compiling this list? Are there specific designs and scales you are interested in? The ARF space of the classics seems to be an emerging trend. We now have a P7 from H9 and rumor has it that there may soon also be a Curare ARF. The designs that seem to still be rare in any guise or form are the Japanese classics - then again, these are trickier to kit due to the more complex nature of their construction.

Thanks for your reply guys, there is some pilots ( including me ) in México who would like to have a CPP's national tournament , we are trying to bring back those events that where once attended by so many pilots, DOX scale and designs are no specific ones altough they must be for .46 to .75 glow engines .

Surprisingly there are still many classics alive in México... at least more than I would expect !!some like TAURUS, TIPORARE's, CURARE's, AURORA's and many more , answer to that call has been so well recieved that many people is interested in purchasing this type of aircrafts.

That's why with the desire to promote the revival of the classics in my country, it ocurred to me to ask for your help in this struggle to help the pilots interested in getting a CPP.

We would appreciate all the help you could give us in this regard, I understand such an event must be sanctioned with FAI rules, if any of you could provide them it would be appreciated.

More links to companies who produce short kits or full ones are welcome.

You might also want to check out this thread that was started back in 2005 in the early days of this forum - actually 2 days away from exactly 5 years ago!
