Jim is so busy that he inadvertently posted the up and coming Waco race in the wrong place. So I took it upon myself to relocate his early post to the Club 40 thread where those interested in Club 40 will see it. I hope he does not mind. I have only good intensions in doing so.

Waco here we come! Looks like there will be a good turnout in both C40 and EF1. I will fly both classes. Hey Jim, I have the new Accusplit stopwatches if you want to use them.

Hay Jim. Do you need help to run your race? One of our club members will come and work for FOOD. He is 6’9â€, 350 and can’t resist a good burger or two etc.. And to verify these stats his name is KING. He was the starter at our last race. A real *****cat when well fed. Plus he said he will resolve all disputes in my favor. I recommend highly.

OK all you Waco ef1 racers, heads up! I haven't talked to Jim (CD) yet , but I have been given enough props to issue each pilot a brand new APC 8x8e prop at the race. The first being free and if you break it the next ones will cost you $5. These fees will go to the Waco club to help support the race. Robert Youens had the props (21) left over from the Austin race from 2 years ago. They are the new style props with the heavy hubs, thanks Robert! I have checked the props for balance and they are marked with a secret code and no other props are to be used? How about that race fans!
BATTERIES? In addition, I will provide a scale so all batteries will be checked, OK'd and marked to insure they meet the 325 gram weight limit.[>:]
Turnigy Motors? I have talked to several racers that are using the new turnigy motor with the 5 MM shaft and they will be legal for this event. I have 2 of them and they have no performance advantage that I can tell. I will be running an Eflite or OS in my planes, but I'm aware of several pilots that are using them and at $17 its a good thing as Martha Stuart said to her boy friend? How did she get into this conversation, does she fly pylon?
Hey Jim, I'll find some help to make all of this happen along with tech for the ef1's.
Let me know what you guys think!

Hey Skully, you may be able to get pylonboy to work for you offshore. As much as the two you look alike, no one would know the difference.

Skully and Pylonboy, I will have a camera with me to take the look –a-like photo. I want to get this right because I’m a little confused. I actually thought Skully looked more like Squidmad. Only a good sharp photo of the three of you will clarify my confusion.
Skully, you must be with us at Waco.

I don't know, I forgot that "The World's Greatest Pilot" will be there, and I really don't want to fly against him. I guess I can show up and IF he is so kind he'll let me carry his TX to the line,, or maybe wipe the oil slime off the fuse. I'm not worthy,, I'm not worthy!!!

RE: Waco race May 12 2012
Well the big day is tomorrow and I’m starting to get nerves. Being the world’s greatest pilot I need a few legitimate excuses for a possible poor performance. So here’s my story and I’m sticking to it. My knees, hips and back joints are not moving very well; my eye sight is 20-40 on a good day; (but still better than Fred’s) and I need to travel with four younger guys so I don’t get lost. Hopefully the Waco club will have a stool for me to rest my old butt on; our Georgetown bus will have five guys and 8 planes, no room for my favorite stool.

[font="Trebuchet MS"]Will the poles are up and some are already practcing.
It looks like we are going to catch a break in the weather they have lowered the rain chances and also lowered the estimated wind speed to 10 MPH.
There may be some rain early, but it will clear off hopefully by race time.
Come early if its overcast and the sun is not a problem we will try to start early
Jim

Jim a bunch of my fans told me that they will be at the race to watch me race. God knows I need all the encouragement the world has to offer. SO, I told them to go to this web site for info and a map, MAP, MAP, for the location. No such info or MAP exists on this thread. Please post a MAP so my fans can find the place. I need them there to help me to and from my stool.
