I got the call today that Mark Weiss, a Texas Club 40, 424 racer, had a heart attack, and then a stroke this week. Mark was the CD at the last Texas City race and a dear friend to me. Please lets keep him and his family in out prayers.

Hey Eric;

Sorry to hear that about Mark, I figured I would see both of you guys this weekend in Georgetown, seems like just yesterday when I was talking to him at Fred's Race Ranch in July; lets hope he gets better real soon.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mark. He was so gracious and friendly to me when I was at the Texas City Race. He made me feel like one of the gang down there. Tell him hello for me and my prayers are with him.

Hi all, spoke to Mark this morning, he said he might be out as soon as this week! He said he feels pretty beat up, and wants to thank everyone for thinking of him.

This is a bummer a downer and it sucks, but we are all living with the memory of a good friend. We will keep Mark in our thoughts and speak of him often.
