Default Q-25 Tank size

I am building Quickee, for a OS 25. What size tank is everybody running 4oz or 6oz?
What are your flight times for the 4oz tank?

Thanks Bruce

4 oz. tank is more than enough. I use 4 oz. tanks for quickies with Thunder Tiger 40s with no problem making 11 to 12 laps or more.

Jim,

I saw that thread before because I did a search on it. I thought my question was would be easy to answer by those who race Q-25.
If you do not know the answer then do not reply.

...then why did you post it in the Club 40 forum? Sorry, my friend, I thought you would get an answer about a Q25 question faster in the Q25 forum...

Apologies.

Bruce, I run either the Hayes 4 oz tank or the Tetra 3 oz tank in my Buckshots. Both have plenty of fuel to run a 10 lap race on the AMA long course.

I put the question in Club 40 because there is no q-25 section. I thought those who race Club 40 would most likely also race q-25.

Thanks Bruce

A 4oz Jett will do the trick. 2 oz is too small and 6 oz is more than you need.

Thanks to all who replied. Looks like 4oz is it, just as I thought.

4 oz tank is standard down here and some are even using a 3 oz tank but when (flying starts ) are the required for the day instead of normal ground starts i hear those guys worrying about fuel consumption as they fly in circles waiting for the start to happen were as i do not worry with my 4 oz
