The list of our club members who are registered at RCU is small. We may find that not many people use the forum but it is a good place for that group to communicate. If you want to get to everyone in the club who has an e-mail address, just log into the club website and use the mail button. Everyone will get those messages.
Have fun.

Thanks for setting this up! This will be great!! Very Cool!
Could I suggest changing the link name on the home page to something like "Skystreakers Forum" RC online does not realy tell you what it is.
The link on the club web site only took me to the RC Universe home page and not to this forum. [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10855906/tm.htm]http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10855906/tm.htm[/link]
This link should drop them into the forum so they dont have to hunt around for it.
Ok, Now who is gonna Fly this weekend?

Strange, the link on the website took me right to here, both at home and at work.
If you are in the forum anywhere and search skystreakers, you should find this thread easy.

I can find it easy, but I do it for a living.
I am thinking a lot of our members are not computer savy and need all the help they can get.
The link that you put on the page http://www.rconline.com/ when I use it it just goes to the RC Universe home page. perhaps the DNS server I am on has not updated recently.

I had to force the page to reload to get your link to show.
the one I was clicking on was down the page in Radio Control Clubs and Organizations: list
sorry I though I had already forced it to reload...

Nelson.
How can we make new threads. Like different topics. Ex. Thread for Pylon Racing, Thread for IMAC, thread for general (which we already have). Is there a way the us members can make our own threads?

Thanks for the report. Steve found the other link elsewhere on the links page. It looks like it is working ok. I appreciate the feedback on the web stuff. It's easy for me to miss something when I look at it 100 times.

If you make anohter thread in an another fourm on R/C universe, Put in the subject like "Skystreakers IMAC Forum" or whatever the topic. E-mail me the link (copy the address bar and paste it into an e-mail) And I will add it to the skystreakers site. When you are registered here on RCU, you can start a new Thread (subject) in any of the fourms. Just look at the help screens for that topic and read up on it. Don't go crazy with a bunch of threads that won't get used, it will just clutter up the links page. Thanks.

I am up for flying this weekend, temps will be high or 27F or so with low wind both days so it looks good for a few flights around mid day.
I will bring my transmitter mitt and some handwarmers.

Steve and I flew today, and I must say that it was chilly, put in three good flights, thanks to Dick D. letting me use a pair of his gloves, thanks Dick. I cut the fingers off them so I could feel the sticks works great. My yak seems to like the cold air, performance was exillant.Moter runs very strong.
May be go again tomorrow?????? Any takers

Hey Tim
It was great flyin for sure today, I am looking forward to grabbing a few more flights tomorrow. Charging up the batteries as I type.
I was loving having that transmitter mitt. with the hand warmer in it my pinkies were warm and toasty.
If any one is looking for one Ray and Robbins has them. (made by Jim Baker) very well made and worth every penny.
the wind is suppost to be less tomorrow. [8D] maybe more sun
I am planning on getting there around 11ish See Ya there!
