Default flew my first electric today

I flew my first electric plane today.I have been flying glow for 6 years and I must say it's a change of pace. The plane I have is the GWS Tiger Moth. And the flight batteries are Li Poly cell phone batteries.I get 40 minutes of flight time on a single charge. It's definatly different.

Electrics are a good change of pace. I tried to get into them heavily but found it cumbersome carrying crap loads of batteries cgargers etc to the field. I gallon of glow fuel and im ready to go all day!

I have a Multiplex TwinJet and a GWS A-10 on the bench. I plan on a GWS BN-2 this winter, electrics are fun but a smaller part of my flying.

enjoy

matt
