Default 1/2 scale J3

Does anyone remember the gentleman who was building 1/2 scale cubs last year??? If my memory is anywhere near correct I believe he was somewhere in the midwest US. Any help will be appreciated.

Have no idea of who you are looking for. However, I am currently building a 40% (14.5ft. span) J-3 that quite possible will have plans available, and maybe kits, if all goes accoring to plan. Plane will be complete and test flown about two months from now.

It has been 6 or 7 years since I saw it but a guy in Grand Island Nebraska was building one. The airport at GI has a control tower so he said he would have to contact them to let them know he was flying that day. I don't know if this is the same guy or not.
