Sensationalism in the news? The drone was five miles out but the headline in the clip says it was spotted "over JFK". I agree that drones close to major airports is a problem, but short of it carrying a nuclear device, five miles out is not gonna affect JFK at all. From the headline, I would have expected the drone to have been spotted over the center of the main runway or buzzing the control tower. Not the case.

I kinda wonder how a pilot of a jet liner flying at 1500 feet at a speed of 150 + mph spotted a 4 rotor drone that with a diameter of 36 inches. It really seems exagerated if not fabricated.
