I sold my Futaba 7C and two receivers. I used the proceeds from the used 7C to purchase a brand new Taranis, the 8XR receiver (with telemetry), a GPS sensor, and a 6 pack of beer. I can now handle up to 32 channels (with a 2nd receiver and tx module,) and can view the data on a screen that rivals most $400+ systems. The watch I had when I was a kid in the 1990's displayed more data than the 7C. I am certainly not looking back, and I certainly would not hesitate to use the system in a "high value" aircraft.
