Hi all, right I'm a total noob not got a clue! But looking at buying my first rc car. Prob a buggy type, seen a few on eBay between 100 to 150 look good fast in vids they put on, so what should I look for prob looking for electric. So if anyone could recommend any cheap ish cars to star with would be much appreciated thanks, oh mainly used on road but bit of dirt track. Thanks for any advice

I have to say if you start off cheap, you may end up spending more money then if you would have bought mid level. No need to go all out and get a hard core racer. But it would help you to get a good car to start with. Are yo looking for an all in one package, car, radio, battery, charger all in one box? Do you want to piece it together with better items? Get the car, motor, ESC, battery, radio, charger separately?

As you are on the other side of the pond, I am not sure I could recommend a shop.

These are not as low as what you stated, but they are good cars that you will not be rebuilding with after market parts or waiting for parts to come in.

Cheers for your advice, as I've had a few hobbies in the past then start buying cheep then normally replace everything after a few months, but as long as I have a starting point and something that won't take to much maintenence and fairly reliable then should be ok, so cheers for the cars will have good look and see what I like. Cheers again
