Default Unsolicited opinions

Why do some guys feel it is necessary to post a negative and unsolicited opinion on a "For Sale Forum Ad"? Especially if they aren't even a buyer for the product for sale.
Then, because the Ad is in a Forum, the post can't be deleted by the poster(seller), and the moderator won't remove the post when asked? At least on the competition's site, the selling poster of the Ad can delete the negative forum post.

Should the Poster (seller) of the Ad Forum have the ability to control the forum post to an Ad made by potential buyers, or those who are bored and like to leave their unsolicited opinion?

Because some people on the internet feel empowered to express their negativity and to bully. Sad, but true.
