Fuselage building jig.
My friend is looking for a NIB building jig for fuselages and I don't know who makes a good one, learned to build the old fashion way. Can anyone steer me to site where he can get one?

RE: Fuselage building jig.
There was a post a while back on a home made one that is really good, I used it for about 2 planes when I first started. I have an adjusto jig that a friend asked me to sell for him that has a fuse jig in it too, but its not new. Email me if you are interested in seeing that. Sorry, can't help you more than that. Do a search for Fuse Jig or fuselage jig on here and see if that one pops up. Sorry I don't remember where it is. That is the best type of fuse jig I have seen for builders.

RE: Fuselage building jig.
This site has the best fuselage jig I ever saw.
http://www.gatorrc.com/ ------------- then, go to fuselage jig stations.
I own one and it does everything it is supposed to do (it meets all the claims made for it). !
I also have the A-Justo jig set up. It works also but was designed when the 10cc engine limit was in effect for pattern ---- it works for that size A/C . I used the latter jig until going a bit larger (1/4 scale) .
This (Gator RC) jig was designed by Ron Chidgey who also was the original owner of Gator RC .
Recently there was an article on the web showing the home construction of this jig design, but as I remember it the author gave no credit to Ron for the original thought and design.

Try this web site for plans to build a fuselage jig. Modify the station sizes to fit your needs.

I have a fuselage jig that I will be glad to give you if you can figure out the shipping method. It has some fairly long rails. If I can decide how to package it you can have it for the cost of shipping. I'll go out to the shop and determine the name and type and give you another jingle on a PM.

RE: Fuselage building jig.
If anyone is looking for Howard Sullivans Fuselage Jig page, it has apparently moved to:
http://home.mchsi.com/~howard.sulliv.../FJConstr.html
his wing jig is at:
http://home.mchsi.com/~howard.sulliv.../WJConstr.html
or the main page is at:
http://home.mchsi.com/~howard.sullivan/
and those items are off of the "Construction" option in his left hand menu.
and the wing and fuselage jigs are frames from that page.
