Pics of my Ultimate
check it out! this is my Ace Simple Series Ultimate. GREAT flying lil plane.
It was time for an overhaul.. and also time to give the plane a general once over and new covering job.
so.. i busted out the covering i had left.. and just started cutting.. this is what i came up with. tell me what ya'll think
here you can see one of my home made springy tailwheels.
and.. yes.. i clean my engines. lol.. powered by an OS 15 FP

ya i am pretty proud of how it came out.. considering i didnt have a plan. lol.. i just started sticking pieces together and thats what i came up with.

engine is a OS 15FP and im using standadrd servos in the fuse with a HS-80 mini servo in the wing

Great looking plane! But one thing you could do next time to clean it up a little is to cut the front edge of the covering along a straight edge before you put it on so there is a nice smooth edge. I have always liked small planes, and an aerobatic Ultamite would be awesome to have.

ya thanks for noticing the little imperfection on the leading edge.. lol ya i messed up there but for doing it without any kind of idea of how i wanted it to go together and with no straightedge and cuttng by hand i think i did pretty good. haha
anyway.. i still have no idea about this race car.. can someone post a pic?

wheres the sense of adventure of some. maybe instead of a straight edge you could win the powerball and pay him to recover it. I think its greeaaat! A good friend of mine would say..................."now thats got character!"

Seriously, it is a cool looking plane, and a great way to use leftovers instead of throwing them away. I am going to have to try that, got plenty of leftovers!........... I didnt even notice the leading edge until it was pointed out, all the colors draw away from it.

ya actually i think it came out kinda cool.. kind of aztec but with a modern racing kind of feel.
ya im gonna have to touch up that leading edge now that everyone is noticing it. lol :spinnyeye
