FOX .60 Enging Carb Adjustment
Information Request: I recently was give an older .60 Fox engine. I use a 12/6 prop and the engine is very powerful. My assumption is that it is truely a .60 because of the size. The only identification is the word FOX on the carberator. The lower crankcase is in two pieces (bolted together with 4 bolts) which then bolts (4 bolts) to the cylinder body. Best description I can come up with. My question is on the procedure for adjusting the Carb. It has a two kneedle valve adjustment with a bleeder (?) screw on the high idle. How do you adjust it for the best performance and how do you sequence the two high and low kneedle adjustments. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
